Ambedkar University, Delhi has invited for the post of Staff Nurse - Female.

The Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is a State University established by the Government of NCT of Delhi through Dr B.R. Ambedkar Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2007. AUD is evolving as a multi-campus University at Delhi with focus on research, postgraduate and undergraduate programmes in the social sciences and the humanities. AUD has its transit campus at Kashmere Gate and it is planning to establish other campuses at Karampura, Dheerpur and Rohini.

2. The University is looking for suitable female candidates for one post each of Medical Officer and Staff Nurse to its Dispensary on contractual basis.
Salary & Age limit for Medical Officer: Rs. 50,000/- to 68,000/- p.m. depending upon the qualification and experience. Age limit: Below 40 years.

Salary & Age limit for Staff Nurse: Rs. 30,000/- to 38,000/- p.m. depending upon the qualification and experience. Age limit: Below 35 years.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and other terms and conditions for these posts are given below: 1. Medical Officer (Female) Essential Qualification: M.D. in an appropriate branch of Medicine with at least 02 years post doctoral experience in a recognized hospital/ dispensary. OR M.B.B.S. with minimum 55% marks or equivalent including completion of compulsory rotatary internship followed by atleast 05 years post degree experience in a recognized hospital/ dispensary/ nursing home. Desirable: Post-graduate qualifications/ MBA (Hospital Administration) and/ or hospital experience will preferred. Note: For the post of Female Medical Officer at least one year hospital experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology ward.
2. Staff Nurse (Female) Essential Qualification:

1. B.Sc. (Hons.) in (Nursing) from a recognized University or Institute; OR Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute; OR Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from recognized University or Institute;

2. Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council. 3. Six months experience in Minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above. ***** General Conditions:
 1. The University reserves the right not to fill up the vacancy as advertised, if the circumstances so warrant.
 2. The post mentioned in the advertisement is subject to the administrative concurrence to be accorded by the Finance Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.
3. Other Backward Classes (OBCs) for the purpose of employment under the University, shall be the Castes, as notified by the Central Government in the Central List for Delhi and Castes defined as OBCs by the OBC Commission of Delhi and notified by the Government of NCT of Delhi from time to time.
4. For Persons with Disabilities (PwD), the first cycle of roster point (from 1 – 33) for Group ‘B’ has already been advertised separately.
5. Wherever experience is prescribed as minimum eligibility condition for a post, only post qualification experience shall be counted.
 6. Candidates should possess the essential qualifications as on the closing date of application.
7. Mere fulfilling the minimum educational qualification and experience shall not entitle a candidate to be necessarily called for the test/interview.
8. Applicants who do not meet the qualifications given in this advertisement and/or incomplete applications will be rejected summarily.
9. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for test/interview. The University reserves its right to hold a written test in case the applications received are large in number. 3
10. Candidates serving in Government Departments/Organizations/Universities/ Public Sector Undertakings etc. are required to produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of test/interview if their applications are not routed through proper channel after submission of online application.
11. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
12. No interim correspondence or personal enquiries shall be entertained by the University.
13. Candidates working in Central Govt. department and Govt. of NCT of Delhi who have rendered not less than three years regular and continuous service as on closing date are entitled for 05 years Age relaxation provided the experience is in the same or allied line.
