Job DescriptionMediclinic Middle East is looking for highly skilled and licensed Assistant Nurse professionals for a newly available position at Mediclinic City Hospital, United Arab Emirates.

Mediclinic City Hospital is a state-of-the-art healthcare facility. It dominates Dubai’s healthcare landscape in terms of the quality of its medical staff, the breadth of services it offers and the standard of equipment it operates.

The Nursing Assistant works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide basic nursing care to patients. 
The nurse assistant will be required to follow hospital's policy and procedures, with particular emphasis on policies relating to infection control and patient safety.
RequirementsLocally based candidates with 2-5 years experience in a similar nursing role, will be given preference.
Nursing Diploma of at least 2 years duration 
Minimum 2 years post graduate experience 
Current license as a Nursing Assistant or as a Registered Nurse in home country and in current country of residence
Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic language skills are well regarded)
High level of verbal and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong service culture orientation. At ease functioning in a multicultural environment
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to deliver quality patient care in the ward or clinic 
Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team 
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement for better health outcomes
Basic computer literacy skills 
Ability to function effectively under pressure
Key OutputsEnsures patient records meet legal requirements and Mediclinic standards
Stock / equipment managed and controlled
Provides assistance with lifting and turning patients and assists patients with ambulation 
Orients patients to the nurse-call system, television and telephone 
Provides assistance in emergencies 
Takes and records vital signs 
Acts as a porter or general assistant
Monitors and orders linen and stores
Collects or takes items to other areas of the hospital as requested by the manager or team leader
Participate in Continuous Professional Development
Adapts and maintains a customer-focused mindset that acknowledges the importance and value of the customer, and acts accordingly
Actively seeks customer input regarding their needs, requirements and preferences
