About Your Job:
The position will be accountable for rendering effective and quality nursing care in an organised and systematic way according to the established policies and procedure based on aviation standards, with provision and promotion of safety among the staff and the working environment.
You will be responsible for assisting and carrying out Qatar Civil Aviation Authority medical examination procedures for cabin crew (QR, Amiri, Qatar Executive) for QCAA license process. You will perform medical health check for Junior Non-Allianz staff/Executive checkup for Senior staff as required and if needed, coordinates with concerned department. You will assist and perform routine laboratory and diagnostic procedure including Drug Screening (New joiner cabin crew and deck crew, QROC random selection and OP nana project) as per protocol, accomplish related documentation and notify concern department as required.You will take responsibility for Collaboration of Multidisciplinary Health Care Team in the client’s treatment plan and coordinates with concerned department as follows :
- Facilitate referrals of clients to other health institutions as required
- Monitor, report and assist in screening communicable disease exposure. Supervision of the staff who are undergoing Direct Observation Therapy (DOT) / malarial prophylaxis
- Conducts hospital/ home visit and making follow up calls on scheduled basis as required
- Gives proper health teaching/counselling to the patient in prevention of illness, promotion and maintenance health.
You will be required to ensure the documentation of clinical data as follows:
-QCAA process for cabin crew including initial and renewal of their license (follow up on their psycho/medical commission/residence permit report). Maintain accurate records, preparation and updating files and database records.
- Issuance of new license for lost and reinstatement QCAA card
- Sorting of QCAA files, unfit/resigned/terminated and arrange filing accordingly

About You:
To be successful for that role you must have Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. In addition to, a certification in Intermediate Life Support Program. Registration with the recognised Professional Regulation Authority in home country where qualification has been obtained and license should be on active status. You must be eligible for acquiring Nursing license from Supreme Council of Health in Qatar or in possession of the active license in Qatar.
You must have at least 3 years post registration experienced to be eligible for nursing license in Qatar with 2 years of experience in Emergency/Casualty department. Proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business.
